I recently went to see Half a Sixpence at London’s Noel Coward Theatre. I absolutely loved the show, you can read about it in my Half a Sixpence Review! This is how I found the view from my seat.
Seat: Royal Circle B14
Date: Friday 20th January, Evening.
Price: We got these tickets through the Delfont Mackintosh Theatres ‘It’s a gift’ ticket deal.
Through this offer we paid £45 and the seats were worth every penny of that. Without the deal, the seats would have been £79.95. If you’re not strapped for cash I’d say definitely pay for these seats but otherwise seats a few rows back would still provide a good complete view of the action. I believe on premium nights prices can rocket up to over £100 which seems extortionate, try and find a night where this is not the case!
View: I could not fault the view from this seat. I had a clear, unobstructed view of the entire stage. The theatre is quite small so we felt really close to the action and it felt as though the actors were looking right at us which makes you feel really involved. The rake is excellent so heads in front aren’t a problem. The sound from here is also perfect – I think this makes a huge difference to enjoyment of the show! I would be surprised if these (along with row A) weren’t the best seats in the house.
Have you seen this show or do you have any questions? Let me know in the comments down below!!
Much love,
Charlotte
