VIEW FROM MY SEAT | New London Theatre

I recently visited the New London Theatre for the first ever time to see the fast paced, fun filled, modern masterpiece which is School of Rock. Read more about my thoughts on the show in my School of Rock the Musical Review!

Seat Number: Stalls S29

Price: We picked these tickets up about 2 hours prior to the performance from the TKTS booth in Leicester Square (Friday Evening). We paid £29.50 per ticket and I have to say they were worth every penny. Face Value for these seats is £45.

View: This seat is right in the centre of the stalls, 2 rows from the back – but you’d never guess that from the view. We had a complete unobstructed view of the action. Yes we were quite distant from the stage, bur not far enough to affect my enjoyment of the show. I could still make out expressions etc and felt involved in the action. The circle in this theatre is very small so there is absolutely no overhang in view which is great – as an overhang hater this is very important to me. The rake is excellent so there were no heads in the way and the sound quality was perfect.

I would highly recommend these seats. If you have a bigger budget, my guess would be that the best seats in the house would be 6 or 7 rows in front of us. I have to say that this theatre is incredibly well designed meaning that a terrible view would be really hard to come by.

Have you been to the New London Theatre? Tell me what you thought in the comments!

Much love,

Charlotte
