Where to sit at Waitress, London – Adelphi Theatre

Waitress the Musical has arrived in London and I’m back with another ‘where to sit’ post to help you find the best seats for your visit!

STALLS

Front Row

One of the best front rows in the west end. The stage is low and the front row is quite far from the stage so the view from here is great! Obviously you’re incredibly close to the action but you won’t have to crane your neck as drastically as with most front rows!

Side Stalls

You wont miss much from the sides of the Adelphi Theatre. If sat on the far right you’ll miss the band and if sat on the far left you’ll probably miss Cal in his kitchen. The further forward the more you’ll miss.

Rear Stalls

Quite a lot of overhang from the dress circle back here but doesn’t feel too distant from the stage. The rake isn’t the best so heads might obstruct your view.

Centre Stalls

A really great view! Again, not the best rake so there is always the risk of a head in the way but the view is fantastic. This is around Row K.

DRESS CIRCLE

Front Row

A brilliant unrestricted view. No need to lean at all as there is no safety rail along the majority of the row, only at the very edges! This photo is take from the very edge of the row which is classed as restricted due to the safety rail.

Side Dress Circle

The dress circle isn’t too wide or curved so you won’t miss much at all from either edge.

Rear Dress Circle

A pretty good view! Still feels quite close to the stage and completely unrestricted. Nice and steep so heads shouldn’t ever completely block your view although you may still need to lean to one side slightly for optimal viewing!

A great view! Close to the action and unrestricted.

UPPER CIRCLE

Front Row

A really great view from up here. You don’t even need to lean forward as is often the case with grand circles, just sit up straight and the view is perfect! Doesn’t feel too distant or high up and gives a great view of the entire stage. First pic leaning back, second leaning forward.

Side Upper Circle

The side of the stage closest to you will be cut off – more so the further forward you are. You’ll miss a small bit of the action. If sat on the left you might struggle to see the kitchen and bar in the diner, if sat on the right you’ll miss the band. You won’t miss anything centre stage which is of course where the majority of the action will be!

Centre Upper Circle

The upper circle is split into 2 sections by an aisle. The first image is the view from the back row of the front section of the upper circle – a really great unrestricted view. The second photo is from the front row of the back section which has this annoying safety rail right infront of it blocking your view slightly. You may be able adjust your position so this isn’t in your way but it’ll be a bit of a pain. At the edge of the photo you can see that despite the aisle in-between, when people are sat in the seats infront they may significantly block your view of the stage. Really wouldn’t recommend this row.

Rear Upper Circle

Very high up here and feels a long way from the stage but a good clear view.

I love seat reviews. I spend so long doing my research before I see anything to work out which seat gives the best view for my money. I always seem to get Mr Big Head in front of me wherever I go too haha. Really helpful photos.
